Glenn Howard sends roving reporter Sam Hardy and researcher Peggy Maxwell on a dangerous fact-finding mission. Their job is to find American missile scientist Harry Roarke, who seems to have defected to Cuba. But he may, in reality, be hiding out in the United States, in fear for his life.

Echo of a Nightmare

Twenty years ago, a six-year-old was kidnapped and later found dead. When the kidnapper is released from jail, he calls Dan Farrell, but is murdered before Farrell gets to him.
